The website
callfinix.com describes the Callfinix platform and publishes guides. The site has no sign-up, checkout or account login. Use of the Callfinix platform itself is governed by a separate customer agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement wins.
Our guides aren’t legal advice
Our guides explain rules such as call-recording consent, the Telemarketing Sales Rule and caller ID requirements, and they quote the law where they can. They’re general information, not legal advice. Laws change and depend on your facts, so talk to a lawyer about your situation.
Your responsibilities if you use Callfinix
Callfinix helps you track, route, record and report on calls and leads. You’re responsible for how you use it, including:
- Getting any consent the law requires before you record calls, including where a state requires the consent of every party
- Following the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, Do-Not-Call rules and state telemarketing laws
- Transmitting accurate caller ID, and not using caller ID to mislead, defraud or cause harm
- Having the right to use the numbers, leads and data you bring into Callfinix
- Giving callers and leads the privacy notices the law requires
You may not use Callfinix or this site to break the law, send unlawful robocalls or texts, spoof caller ID, harass anyone, or interfere with or probe the site or platform without permission.
The self-hosted core page
Our self-hosted core page describes software that’s still being prepared. The repository address, license and setup commands there are placeholders. Nothing on that page grants a license to any software until a license is published with it.
Our content
The site’s text, design, logos and images belong to us or our licensors. You can read, share links to and quote short parts of our guides with credit. Don’t copy or republish the site’s content in bulk, or use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you, without written permission.
Links to other sites
Our guides link to government and other third-party sites, such as the eCFR and state legislatures. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for them.
No warranties
We provide the site “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don’t promise the site will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US $100. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to a court of competent jurisdiction, unless the law requires otherwise.
